Border searches

Crash

New member
What's the most the Mexican border patrol has ever done when you crossed back? I'm talking when they don't see anything suspicious. What do they do on a random search? Have they always even checked you? I know they have a crapload of cars going through there every day. They don't have time to be ripping door panels and dashes apart.

It seems pretty hard to get caught unless you have the stuff in your pockets, under the seat, or in plain view.

Just be careful, I have made every mistake possible, including just stupid things, like driving back with syringes on the back seat in plain view, anyway never got question and use my head now.

I think we're the only ones still up. Must be every bro's bed time. :D How many trips have you made? Did you ever go by yourself or always have a buddy? It seems the best bet would always be just to spend the night down there to for it to be less suspicious. Did you always come back within a couple hours? I think I'd be too scared to try that.

Here's a news item I pulled from the US Customs Service website re: a recent border bust. I suggest you go to their site if you plan on doing much smuggling. Very good insight into searches, technology, etc. ( http://www.customs.gov ):

In another significant enforcement action, Customs Inspectors seized a sizable quantity of steroids at Eagle Pass Bridge I. A U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service inspector referred a 1998 Toyota Camry driven by Michael Anderson Boyd, age 34, of Carrolton, Tex., for a secondary examination. During the examination, a Customs inspector discovered a box of steroids in the vehicle's center console. As the exam continued, Canine "Katie" also alerted to the vehicle side panel. Further examination of the side panels revealed more boxes of steroids. Customs Inspectors seized a total of 860 milliliters of steroids, 90 Valium tablets, and a package of birth control medicine. The types of steroids seized included testosterone, nandrolone, Equipoise, Stenox, and Norandren. Customs inspectors arrested Anderson and turned him over to Customs special agents for investigation. Customs agents secured federal prosecution for importation of steroids.

That is good that they help us with info like that...

That story sucks but dogs dont smell juice? Or have they figured a way to do this?

WHAT? I thought that dogs couldn't sniff steriods. They're in sealed containers. Am I missing something here?

New X-Ray Technology Leads Customs Inspectors
to Drug Load at San Luis Port

The MTXR-LUV system is a non-intrusive x-ray imaging machine that U.S. Customs inspectors use to detect contraband within vehicle or cargo containers. It was designed to allow U.S. Customs officers to continue their drug interdiction efforts without unduly restricting the flow of commerce at border ports. The technology is completely mobile and can move over public highways, providing U.S. Customs with the flexibility needed to address emerging enforcement concerns.

Got that from the same website he posted. I'm too scared to even try it now.

Read about all the drug arrests, you will see that most are either the result of a tip, or simply the driver/walker was acting nervous or unusual when crossing. Being cool & creative can be very advantageous. If your uncertain, or don't know what you're doing, you're taking a big chance. Things will not be getting any easier...:(

I don't see how anyone couldn't be a little nervous. I just wonder if there are any sure fire ways to avoid being checked. I'm sure having a drunk passenger or alcohol wouldn't be that smart. Just thinking. It seems that from what's been posted or read lately, that if you act nervous, you're pretty much already fucked, and the door panels and dashes start coming apart. At least with this new second check with the new X-ray machine.

I mean read this from that site:

U.S. Customs Inspectors Seize 10,000 Steroid Doses
Smuggled on Ferry from Santo Domingo

On May 23, 2001, at the Port of Mayaguez, Jose Luis Maldonado Ortiz and Maria Albania Acosta Mejia were arrested for attempting to smuggle in the gas tank of their vehicle 10,000 anabolic steriod pills and injectables into Puerto Rico, with an estimated retail value of $150,000. Both had arrived from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, aboard the ferry "Millennium Express."
A U.S. Customs canine alerted positive to drugs in the gas tank area of the vehicle. Removal of the gas tank revealed secret compartments filled with thousands of anabolic steroid pills and injectables.

I mean it was in the gas tank for christ's sake, and they found it. And as far as not being tipped off, how the hell are you supposed to know that until it's already to late and you're busted.

I mean all it would take would be someone seeing you walk out of a vet shop or pharmacy and them reporting to the border patrol your description, and that would be the end of it. All they would have to do would be say "He was like 28 years old, 6'0" 300 lbs, had short black hair, and drove a blue Toyota pickup truck. He had another blonde kid with him about the same age. He was about 25 years old,5'10", and about 250 lbs."
Honestly, that would be all it would take. You've been tipped off. So, once they see someone meet that description, you go straight to secondary check, X-rays, and the dogs.:(

I don't see much hope in it. It really seems everyone is pushing their luck.

I know you guys are speculating but its really not like that. Also DOGS cannot smell anabolic steroids.Period I dont care what these reports say. Alot of times this propoganda to scare would be importers of anabolics.
There must have been a tip off. Thousands of cars are going across in a matter of a few hours in these places. Part of it can be random other times it can be attributed to the subjects appearing nervous.
When you drive you are under much more scrutiny than when you walk. Also coming back empty handed is a no-no. The more junk you have the better.

Also having another friend drive down there wouldn't be too wise either because of the new license plate readers that customs has installed. There is an article on that website there too. If someone sees you the American come out of a pharmacy or vet shop and reports you, you can still be busted even if you move gear to the other vehicle. So, if it read 2 license plates from the same city or closeby, it wouldn't help switching the gear to another vehicle. You're still busted.:( Especially with all the stuff listed above.

Some Clarifications

Just to clear something up the BORDER PATROL does not have anything to do with people crossing over the border at established ports of entry. US customs agents and Immigration officials are the people there as well as sometimes contracted security gaurds who may or may not be armed.

walker

im debating on driving down to the border..droping my vehicle off at a taxi service on US side and riding in mexico....then going to pharmacy and buying gear..going to a bathroom...putting amps or vials...i my special shoe which has a small compartment that will hold around 20 amps or so..hehe...and riding back accross...and to make it more unsuspicious buying some mexican souveniers from the market to bring across.

I just wonder if being nervous will warrant door panels or dashes removed. Stuff like that beyond a normal in trunk or plain site search. That X-ray stuff makes me sick at my stomach just thinking about it. They've been using in since January from the U.S. Customs site.

Maybe I should just take a couple hotties down there with me and make it look like a summer party trip. Put a box of rubbers on the dash. Wonder how many vials you can cram up a vagina?:D

I think they'd let you pass back through laughing if you had a shit-eating grin on your face, 2 smiling bitches, and only about 2 or 3 condoms left in the box.:D

My day in mexico

I just visited NOgales Mexico on Thursday of last week. I went with my wife (we are 3 hours away in Phx, AZ) and we parked on the US side, and walked over. Went to three pharmacies, bought 8 sus250 redijects at $10 each, and a bottle of Revorfit-B for $60 - Then bought some clomid and nolvadex. My wife was gonna take it across in a clever gadget we constructed but it would not fit so I said teh hell with it! We took everything out of the box, put it in my bag which had a blanket and a doll in it and walked across. The guy asked if we were US citizens, we said yes. Tyhen asked me if I bought any pharmecuticals. I was NERVOUS and hesitantly said no, with my heart going 130 beats per minute...he slyly looked at my bag with his eyes, looked at me and said "go ahead" - I walked past and went out to the US side, passing by the Xray machine. I swear i will NEVER try that again! NO WAY! Too nervous and too close. All he had to do was take the bag and run it through the machine! Unless you have a clever way of doing it I would not risk it. BUT it was easy enough getting through. The dude looked tired and ready to go home and it was DEAD - no one else in line at all in front or behind us.

A word of advice. Forget the secret shoe compartment.

Not long ago, I returned to Texas and, at Customs, was escorted to an interrogation room.
There, the Feds made sure to inspect thoroughly my sneakers. I was wearing a pair of K-swiss ones. The bastards gave the sneakers quite a work-out -- bending and stretching the pair.

Be careful. I did not act suspicious or worried. I was not even carrying gear.

$60.00 for a vial of ref B? You paid about $40 too much for that souvenir

Crash------By living in San Diego----we see alot of stuff conserning the borders that the rest of the country doesnt------On any giving weekend, 5 people are arressted every 20 minutes at one particular crossing. Most are Illegals but some are drugs---------Any type of way you can think of getting something acrossed has been done thousands of times and has also been seen by agents-------Their is one guy that was on TV that helps train lawyers(for finding gurys of their liking) -- agents and others that could use what he does in their job----He can pull you aside and just by looking at the muscles in your face and your actions of your body can tell if you are telling the truth on any questions asked------The only thing that someone has going for them when trying to bring a small amounts of A.S. over the border is (and I do mean small amounts) Customs agents are so overwelmed that in some cases, you could be let go(dont count on it)------Its a crap shoot-----When asked what your doing over their and you start studdering over your words, your done!----Know the lay of the land as much as you can and expect to be questioned----It helps to have a decent buzz---And always look them right in the eye when you are being talked to ------But never make eye contact when standing in line----Dont cross your arms like your bored(flag) dont yawn alot(sign of nervs) dont wear sunglasses in the building(dont hide your eyes) Dont have to many stupid items(esp if you live in cali) Once you will be ok but if your going over their twice a month, silly trinkets will be a flag-----better to say, your over their with some underage guys drinking ----- and if they ask where are the other guys, say at ********** still drinking----Parting is the best reason for being over their-------Another good thing is to shave your head close, like your in the service-----They will think your down there to drink and party-----If your asked questions, dont be in a hurry to finish talking and get out of their---------Dont try to make small talk with an agent(flag) answer his questions and move on slowly------I gone over their a few times but will just buy domestic for now on------Its just not worth it!---Later B

Dogs

I can tell everyone on this board that dogs cannot sniff out roids. I now this for fact!! I have had my vehicle walked around by these dogs and i had plenty of items with me, and never nothing could they smell. the funny thing is that my buddy would clean out tanning oil bottles and fill with sust when we would go down there, and he would take it out and rub some on right when we were talking to border patrol and yes they would have the dogs there.....this is kinda funny though..

Gringo

guys im not gonna try the shoe thing.....i was just thinkin about it...i will probably buy from a local for an outrageaous price

regarding the dogs.. dogs aren't trained to sniff for everything.. usually just one specific scent - coke, dank, illegal immigrants, etc. so while you might have been sniffed by dogs, they might have been looking for something else. also, i don't know for sure, but i think that it would be a good possibility to train dogs to sniff for steroids by either using the scent of the oil on the outside of the vials (like on brovel t-200) or something in the plastic... just a thought.

whatsamatta with you guys

just use the new 60 day, time release stuff before you cross back!!!!

geesh

Hey I paid $60 for a 50ml bottle of ref-b not a 10ml bottle, also the 1st two pharmacies wanted $110!! $60 for a cycles worth is good for me. Anyway, after reading all of this, I wont be trying it anymore, that is for sure. I now have a source so thats the way Ill do it from now on.

caliente

Hey guys, do you know how many of my bros go down there a week to bet on games and races. They're young, muscular, and they gamble alot! Every once in a while, i'll ask them, bring me back somethin. No biggie.

Honestly, I do believe that dogs can indirectly sniff out roids. All they would have to do is smell you, and find your scent on the vials. A dog can be trained to do that. So, you could get busted that way.

What goes on during a typical border search when you drive? From the moment your car is in the line. Has anyone went through a full secondary search? What all have they checked? This is getting interesting. :D

I saw on the discovery channel, they are training dogs to smell out skin cancer. Thay would find a person with it , put a bandaid over the spot and then like six band aids on other parts of the body. The dog found the right spot every time. If they can smell that, maybe thay can smell juice too.

NO THEY FUCKING CANT!!! What are they trained to smell- sesame oil??? They cant smell any type of steroid nor will dogs be trained too b/c its not financially feasible.
I know people that cross weekly to take their shots and walk back and its not like dogs are there 24-7/365 either walking or driving.
You guys need to stop hypothesizing or outright guessing and listen to people who ACTUALLY KNOW what goes on there. Let this thread die.

Wrong again

NO. NO. NO. They cant. Don't sit and say "I think they can..." either they can or can't. And they can't.
How the fuck would they get your scent? Is this like "The Fugitive" and we are like Harrison Ford. Come on dude-your reaching and there's nothing to grab except air......

Guys ---Juice is not the problem over there---Illegals and harder drugs are-----A S are a pain in the ass for the agents as are other prescription drugs but they still have to follow the law to some degree----Lets let this post die!
