Webber came up on a backmarker (Kovalinen in the Lotus), and Kovi moved to the outside to get out of his way just as Webber decided to pass him on the outside. Webber rear-ended him and went flying upside down. He landed on all fours like a cat though and was uninjured. It looked scary, and he hit the tire wall hard.
The resulting safety car period was the cause of a number of investigations and penalties. Vettel stayed out in front of it all and kept his nose clean, bringing home a victory, with Louise and Jens for place and show.
