Bone Chips In My FREAKIN WRIST!!!

NEED HELP BAD.
I went to the hosiptal yesterday cause of severe swelling in my wrist. They x-rayed it and found bone chips in my wrist. Doctor said I shouldn't lift for a while, like at least four weeks until it heals.

What should I do in the meantime so that I don't lose all my hard-earned muscle? Should I just do cardio to stay in shape? Any suggestions??
Thanks guys.

I think in the larger scope of things, 4 weeks really isn't a long time. Think about it - you'll be lifting for life, right? So what's 4 weeks?? It's not too bad.
I used to freak out about missing 3 consecutive days, so i know how you feel. It's tough to stop lifting, but it'll probably pay off in the end to take the time off. You body will probably appreciate the break.

dont mean to upset you but your are going to lose some muscle, and strength is going to go down, you just have to wait and get it back up when healed. I don't know how true it is but when I was injured some guy told me pro football players use isogens to help keep gains when injured, but its just a protein shake, I don't buy it though, so just keeping eating alot and get plenty of protein goodluck bro

Thanks mikey, long time no see. What about doing the cardio?

Four weeks shouldn't do much at all as long as your not JUST comin off a cycle then your catabolic phase would be huge. Other than that, just keep up the cardio, protein and I'm sure your abs and calves could use some attention. Good luck.

i would defiantly keep up the cardio adn if you can do squats great, if it doesn;'t hurt your wrist much, after all squats use pretty much the whole body, not as much as hitting a muscle by itself of course, upper body that is, later bro get better
