Boflex Extreme 2

don't you remember the ripped bodybuilder police officer on the infomercial with the pecs the size of TX? He had trouble against the POWERRODS.... that is enough evidence that it is better than free weights hands down...

didn't you see the smiles and the amazement of the faces of the people watching the demonstration?!.... it's pure evidence that the powerrod technology is hands-down better than free-weights...

Body builders are not strong.

I'd put any power lifter up against anyone who trained only on the bowflex any day.

Is this thread a joke?

i really think u should call chuck norris before he kicks ur ass for not buying a total gym. lol.

Eh, I have one of those and used it for two years before joining a real gym. It did wonders for my flexability but not much for strength. So my verdict is they are great for improving flexability and burning calories but very poor for strength gain.

You know what? In all seriousness. Not that I would buy one personally, but if you eat properly and do resistance training I dont see why you couldn't get big and shredded working out with rocks or logs. Go ahead, buy one. It is what it is, resistance. There are inmates working out with home made weights right now that make 90% of the general public look like shit. I dont know about everybody else, but I'm the type of guy who could live on a fucking deserted island and still lift.

A pair of gymnastic rings is a better workout than the "total gym", and significantly cheaper.

True. Their much harder to use though unless your in good shape. Remember the target audience is fat, overweight time strapped people.
