Boflex Extreme 2

You know what? In all seriousness. Not that I would buy one personally, but if you eat properly and do resistance training I dont see why you couldn't get big and shredded working out with rocks or logs. Go ahead, buy one. It is what it is, resistance. There are inmates working out with home made weights right now that make 90% of the general public look like shit. I dont know about everybody else, but I'm the type of guy who could live on a fucking deserted island and still lift.

But we are talking, for the money you would spend on the bowfles, you could have bought a squat rack, bench, an Oly bar and weights. Which is all you need and will give you much better results then the bowflex, or any other gimic machine out there.

Bowflex only sells because of advertising.

but i noe for the same money i could of gotten all those things
but since i have already botten the bowflex is it worth it
to workout on it or just let it collect dust and go to a gym?

That question has been answered. I would suggest you sell it, get as much as you can for it and use that money towards a squat rack, bench and free weights. Or a gym membership.

The bowflex is really a waste of time. There are no athletes that train with it, no body builders, or powerlifters, no olympic lifters, no one uses the bowflex.

But if you want to give it a shot go ahead, no one is stopping you.

FYI, the extreme 2 is only bringing around 500 bucks on craigslist. Sometimes less. There are hundreds of them on there. That may tell you something.

Nothing beets free weights bro.

True, but anything (to an extrent) beats nothing and being sedintary. You can make big improvements with it, but free weights I believe would accelerate those gains and improvements.
If you don't want to join a gym, then it's a decent substitute. If you can join and WILL lift at a gym, then sell the bowflex. Will pay for a lot of months at a gym. :)
