Bodyweight chin-ups, how many can you do ?

Wide grip, palms away (of course)...I've done 15 at 280+

Can do about 15, however chins are done notoriously badly - how many times do you see people rocking, using momentum and not extending their arms on the negative.

I do them at the end of my back workout, but as singles.

I pull quickly, then do a super slow negative (about 10 seconds). Superset this with weighted plate crunches (as a V up) until you get 20
Ouch ,your arms kill for days.

-I call them "Hospitals" in my training diary.

Usually you're either good at bodyweight and suck with weights or the opposite
 
ive got about 16, with rest pauses but still hanging on the bar.

i dont use momentum, my legs are straight and together, toes pointed. i go all the way down, and blast it back up.

god i love chinups.
 
I can get about 12 solid reps @244 with a full stretch. I try to keep swinging to a minimum, but it just seems to happen; I don't plan or rely on it.
