Also keep in mind that BP fluctuates constantly throughout the day.... you can get a high reading at one point and perfectly normal reading several hours later
by the way, if you do have high BP, and you don't want to get onto BP meds right away, take lots of ginger and garlic...they will do a nice job and helping reduce BP

Actually being diagnosed with High bp this Thursday is going to keep me off antabuse that the courts were trying to get me to take for a DUI/DWAI I got last year so that is one silver lining. It will be the third time they will read my bp which is the minimum requirement my doctor said she needed to actually diagnose me with that. But I will definately monitor it since it is fixable and can be/is a very dangerous condition to have.
