Big Guy Arms?

Hey Tux

You and I are exactly the same size, 191 this morning on an empty stomach. 5’5” last time I measured, don’t think I want to measure again, because I may have shrunk.

Measured my arms this AM for this post and they were 16.5 cold probably 17 or 17.5 pumped.

I am also taking one gram of Test E a week, nothing else just anti-e’s, liquidex and Nolvadex.


I have that problem with skull crushers, BOTH my elbows are killing me right now.

Doing chest and arms tomorrow.

Will have to do 3 triceps exercises with out skull crushers.


I love chest & arm day, my two best body parts, did legs this morning and I already hurt, usually I get about a 24 hour break before things really get sore.

I just thought I'd toss this in for solidspine, skull crushers kill my elbows too. And, typical tricep pressdowns don't do it for me. Strange thing is, besides moderate close grip benches, the best thing I've found is doing cable pressdowns using a straight bar (as opposed to the regular inverted V). For whatever reason, it just seems to hit my tris better. Hands together, elbows at my side for inners and hands spaced far apart for outers, works great. Just throwing that out there as I always have trouble with elbows- shoulders for that matter as well. Since changing things up, my arms are up 3/4 inch from my avatar pic and I'm clean for last 4 months and less elbow pain than dips and skull crushers.

p.s. and just as a side note, I know I've got smallish arms- always a struggle for me. I'm the type that gets a good chest, lat, and trap workout whether I want it or not, but I'm just learning how to really get my arms going.

I didn't say anything was wrong with it. I just don't want to look big and bulky with little to no defintion (of course some of the guys are more bodybuilder like). I am not into the powerlifter look, but that is not to say it is bad. Just not my look.

every gym is diff , I have been to gyms where I can tricep cable extention 190lbs then some gyms only 100lbs. it all depends on the machine some have one pully up top some have 2-3 pullies each pully makes it easier.

I guy was bragging about how he could tricep press 220lbs with the pulldown for like 12 reps so i went over to the reckcenter and it was some pussy joe weider machine had half dozen pullies that the cable went through and it was a joke 220 lbs on that machine was prob like 120lbs on any other gym machine
 
Your squat doesnt get any better with huge arms and since when did that matter?

Quadsweep is where its at (I guess I could be referring to the mod also, he's a good bro)

I think you can gow some pretty big arms with good form compared to heavy weight and shitty form. However, heavier weight and strict form is obviously going to result in bigger arms. That goes for every body part and exercise though and should be your standard if you're a bodybuilder. Just my $.02

You guys are doing wrong exerсise! Fuck those cable press downs! They give nothing! Tell me what weight do you use for skull crushers! Those cable press downs are for the pussies! ;)
