Best alternative to ALCOHOL when 'ON'???

When you're on a cycle, it is best to stay away from alcohol or atleast minimize consumption as much as possible. However, everyone wants to have a good time sometimes--and for some people, it takes a little something to get them going.

I've read that alcohol has detrimental effects on body building--it increases estrogen levels, promotes catabolism, and is exhausting to your body which can be felt the next day via hangovers. Everyone has experienced that lifting after a night of drinking is a terrible, you feel like shti and on top you can't lift as much.

My question is what are some better alternatives to alcohol? Give me some thoughts of why E, G, and anything else of that nature might be better. Do they give the same 'buzz' and same level of confidence that alcohol gains you?

I know a common answer will be something like---the best alternative is "WATER" and be sober, but some people like me come from a small college town in FL where the only thing to do is drink and party.

And also is alcohol really that bad for lifters?

Only about a year left for me in colllege, I want to enjoy it while I can.

If you can't stop drinking alcohol then you shouldn't be taking gear, because you're not even serious about your diet

It is one of the harder drugs to obtain illegally, and legally for that matter IMO. You could probably score heroin or morphine easier than G (on the black market). Prohibition only benefits the pharm companies, government, and dealers. Thanks to the war on drugs

i was going to be quiet on this thread but this post changed my mind

im a pharmacist in case i havnt said that lately (lol) and GHB does not benefit the companies and the dealers. GHB is an old, cheap drug and the companies make very little money off it, as do pharmacists. dealers might make some money on it, but dealers always will. still, even at black market prices, its a cheap drug, relatively.

however, the prohibition/control of this drug benefits a large group of eople, and those people are those eople who are the targets of RAPISTS. men and women alike. GHB is a great drug to rape someone with, and im glad its under control. despite being an interesting drug for BBing purposes, i think that this aspect is enough to make me wish it was unmade.

btw, any wannabe rapists out there, id jsut like you to know that there are people out there like me who will happily poison you with something that will FUCK YOU for life, if we catch you doing anything sleazy like spiking a drink. just so you know.

Agreed...I have heard more horror stories of girls raped on the xanax and alcohol combo than GHB ever (perhaps its because GHB is NOT very available here), while the other two ARE, in abundance

When I used to bounce at this club that was a HUGE issue with the management ...They wanted me watching fucking drink spikers moer than the violent outbursts of drunks...
(and I have a VERY PERSONAL PROBLEM with people who use drugs to rape women so it was a pleasure for me to grab someone who was spiking drinks )....May both of their "souls" ROT IN HELL
