Devil Bhudakhan, an independent wrestler from Pittsburgh, committed suicide by hanging himself on 7/12 or 7/13. His body was found on 7/15. His real name was James Fawcett, and according to reports, idolized and patterned his wrestling style after Chris Benoit. Apparently the wrestler, 31, was despondent over his wife leaving him five weeks earlier.
Now, if this isn't a mess huh? Anyway, in more directly related news.... the police are looking for Benoits diary. It was known that he wrote daily letters to his buddy the late Eddie Guerrero. The police speculate that his motives would be contained in the diary or at least clues to his behavior. But the diary is missing. Also missing are pictures of Woman showing her abuse in the past (bruises, cuts, etc..). There were a couple "other things" missing from the house that the police are anxious to get their hands on. So anxious in fact, they are considering getting warrants to conduct searches in the last couple arenas that Benoit performed in.
Vince also has banned anytime of choke/strangulation hold/move in the WWE now. He doesn't want the fact that Benoit killed his son using a "wrestling hold" as newspapers called it associated with his current performers.
Although, other than Benoit, I can't think of anyone elser that used a submission type hold that involved wretching the neck or choking.
