she thinks she is weak. she has never lifted before and she is 19. we are about 4 weeks into it and she is still skinny, but becoming a freikin HOSS!! i mean this girl is gonna have thicker arms than me! her mom can almost beat me in arm wrestling and they have the same body.

she is 5' 8" and 135 with the normal womanly bodyfat and tig ole bitties. her biceps are almost as thick as mine now, but her overall muscle density has far to go. i just cant believe how much change 3 weeks has made! she is on a 5x5 based on squat, SLDL, bench, incline, dips (assisted), pullups (assisted), rows, and upright rows. some ancillary work depending on time and fatigue. she just graduated to 50 pounds on the 5x5 bench. YAY!
 
oh she is getting the full treatment. if she can handle it, 5 pounds a week increases. if she doesnt finish the set, she tries again next time. and now i have a spotter :) so maxing out or doing heavy sets is no problem
 
i did it with my girlfriend, it was fun in a way. kinda annoying at the same time. when she comes back from school ill get her into it with me again i guess. she lifts at school all the time now. shes 5'7" about 125-130. responded really well when she was coming with me and doing it right, she was getting pretty strong and toned quick.
 
my girl just kicked my ass in a tickle fight. i should never have let her get strong.

i know what you mean by it being fun and slightly annoying too. luckily my girlfriend learns really quick and all i have to do is push her for more weight every so often.
