Bear Down, Chicago Bears.
Make every play clear the way to victory!
Bear Down, Chicago Bears.
Put up a fight with a might so fearlessly!

We'll never forget the way you thrilled the nation,
With your T formation.

Bear Down, Chicago Bears.
And let them know why you're wearing the crown.

You're the pride and joy,
of all Illinois.

Chicago Bears, Bear Down!

Bears are honestly not nearly as good as their record.

in 2 weeks the lions play the bears at the silverdome. I'll give you the line straight up. Many a member on here know my real name, address, etc. and know I'm a man of my word. PM about this if you would like.

The record is what it is. No one ever mentioned how the Bears lost a lot of their games last year by one score. Are the Lions a better team than their record would indicate? They're one of the best teams ATS this year. Their overs have been hitting too. Doesn't matter when all is said and done. Then you have the Bears' 2 back to back OT victories against the Niners and Browns. If the Rams had 2 miracle comebacks like that, would anyone be saying, they stole those 2, or the Rams have a rabbit's foot stuck up their ass? Doubtfull. Who actually beat the Bears this year? The defending Superbowl champion Baltimore Ravens and the playoff bound Green Bay Packers. Not a bad group to be losing to if you have to lose. Chicago played tough all 3 of those games and they all came down to the final minutes. Ask Tampa Bay if the Bears are as good as their record. See how lightly San Fran or the Packers take them if they match up again in the playoffs. Really, there's not much that seperates the best teams from the worst in the NFL. It all comes down to preparation, skill, desire and even a little luck.

I'm pretty much sick of defending the Bears all the time. I've been doing it for years and now they're finally having a good year. The funny thing is, here they are 10-3 with the playoffs clinched, and I'm defending them this season more than I ever had to when they were a sub .500 team the last couple of years. I'm now convinced that even a SuperBowl win for them, wouldn't change many people's opinions about them. The truth is, I can't complain about the Bears this year even if they don't get passed the first round. It would suck, but I'm as proud and happy as I have ever been to be a Bears fan this year and I'm excited about their future to come, nothing is going to ruin that for me. I never thought things would gel together at the pace it has. Someone better watchout and hope that the management doesn't hold this team together, or else the rest of the league will have a dynasty on it's hands. A talented, young, franchise QB and a monster pass rusher at DE are all that is missing, in my opinion.

Sorry about the rant, I just hear this stuff all the damn time. Nothing wrong with a little trash talking when it's all in good fun. That's part of the fun of being a devoted fan. Check your PM.

Most people said that about the Ravens and Giants last year. They said that until the superbowl atleast.

The Chicago Bears have had a great season this year...I will say that. But, you wanna know what pisses me off the most..... ?

By the way, looks like the Niners are for real as well. Especially if they get some home games in the playoffs.

They're looking dangerous after the way they played the last 2 games. I didn't think that Miami game would've been so one-sided.
