Back from Egypt

Hey guys, I just got back from my vacation in Egypt. WORST vacation I ever had! Yeah the gear is cheap, but the rest sucks. I couldn't find a restaurant anywhere, so I ate at KFC every single day for morning, lunch, and dinner (it was the healthiest food I could find). The place stinks, it's dirty, and everyone trys to take your money. It was cool to see the pyramids and all that, but the whole experience was ruined by the camel vendors and jerks who are always trying to take your money. Sorry if this offends anyone that lives in that region but IMO if you want to visit Egypt, once you arrive go to the pharmacy in the airport, get as much gear as you can, and get the fuck out. If anyone is planning to go to Egypt I'll be glad to give you guys some tips on how you can enjoy it more, and where you can get gear, but I wouldn't recommend it.

if you could mail me few tips, I'd love to get a few good addies, I'd really appreciate it!

Sorry your vacation was crap, though...but you got your gear, right?
:)

Pat - I am going IN THREE MONTHS!!! I would greatly appreciate ANY info you can share. Pharmacies, Prices, Products. etc...

Also how did the American dollar compare over there? I will be going to Cairo? Where did you visit? Any places to train? (I will be there for two weeks).

Since I don't want to email and pm everybody, I'll just post the tips here. First off I stayed at hotel "AMBASSADOR", near downtown which is called Midan Tahrir. I payed 220$ for a week. The best pharmacy I could find was near my hotel on the street "26 July". It's basicaly a bodybuilding oriented pharmacy with tons of gear, protein, and exersise equipment. I'm not sure of the name though. Anyway, I got some sust at 40 cents an amp, clomid at about 4$ for 10 pills, and proviron at 5$ for 20. They also had anadrol, primoteston, deca, and andriol. I asked for anavar, halo, and winny, but he wasn't sure what they were. Go to alias list on ajc's website( I think) and ask away until you find what you are looking for. The guys there speak good english so there shouldn't be a prob. I didn't train anywhere but I'm pretty sure there is a gym inside the Hilton in downtown. If not, just ask the guys at the pharmacy. If you visit the pyramids go by taxi , not by organized tours(expensive), and don't pay over 25 egyption pounds. When you get to the pyramids and pay your entrance fee, DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT, look at, talk to, touch or pay attention to anybody there. Everyone there is trying to take your money. Even if they seem like they are being friendly they aren't. Watch out for the camel vendors, they're the worst extortionists there. There's also guys saying that they work there and want to take you somewhere, but they don't. Just tell them to fuck off. Always keep your hands in your pockets to make sure everything is still there. I did meet some nice people there, but it seemed like there were only 10 of them.
And finally, make sure you visit KFC in downtown and wash your hands in the washroom upstairs. You'll be pleasantly surprised!:D

40 cents ??? God this must be heaven... ehehehe well i gotta go there. Nice females there ? lol

Fuck You. Too used to living like a King in America? Not everyone or every nation is as rich as yours so show some god damned respect. It is that attitude that got you no where there.

Can someone post or direct me to pics of Egyptian Sust? So I will know what I am shopping for. Also, was there are Primobolan available?

And please check out my email, I would have a couple of other questions for you that were not mentioned here.

Jae

speaking as an egyptian, it's not the most relaxing place for westerners to vacation. i will say, if you do go to the land of the nile, DO NOT do it on your own. i made that mistake once. i even speak the language and it was very tough for me too, having been away for close to 15 yrs. anyone that goes should go with a group i.e. book a package tour with a travel agent. you can always find resonable prices, especially after august. also, i bet pat went to cairo and the southern part of egypt, right pat?you should go to Alexandria (my home town). the beaches are some of the most beautiful in the mediteranean. Alex. is also much more westernized. and you'll still find plenty of gear, lol...

All You fags that have never been to Egypt need to shut the fuck up. I've been to about 1000 third world countries and none can compare to egypt. I myself was born in a third world country so I'm not a spoiled American. My opinion of Egypt is just that, an opinion. Until you guys go there you won't know what it's like. Thanks CPA for backing me up on this. I was planning on going to Alexandria, but after what I saw Cairo I said fuck it.
Please don't email with stuff concerning steroids, I don't want my gf finding out, thanx.

With your attitude you deserved to have a bad time in Egypt, going to Cairo and then complaining about the whole country. Alexandria, Luxor, Aswan, Hurghada, Sinai. To the guy who claimed he was Egyptian, with your post, you are defintely not a true Egyptian.

Listen Pat, just go and live your life like a King in USA and shut the mouth up. You are sounding like my bitch.

I have just re-read your post and I appologise, I didnt read before that you mentioned not the ideal place for Westerners. Egypt is a beautiful country and while not one of the richest nations the people are generally very warm and loving. Everyone gets on and there is no need to act hard there. People within developed countries often take too much for granted and go off when they are not treated like a King.

PAT. Your post was very offeneding. But after what the good bros said in response, there's not much to be added. And CPA, I don't think you did your country good enough with your words.

Only the very touristic place in Egypt are spoiled, and that's exactly what affected them. Tourism. The locals just want to get a quick buck off the tourists, and while that's bad, it's understandable when you know how little money and opportunities they have access to. Poverty is not a decent thing. Foreigners who live in Egypt find the Egyptians kind, courteous, generous and helpful. And even tourists, when they don't have an attitude, get to sample the true nature of the Egyptian people.

Thanks to all the bros that understand the nature of Third World Countries. It's not an ideal place to live in, but I'm sure the Western world has many shortcomings as well. So PAT, don't go ahead and give a country a bad name just because you couldn't cope with it. I have many friends who came here, and still dream of the day they can visit again.

I didn't mean for my post to be offensive to anyone, I just wanted to share my experiences and help others enjoy there vacations more than I did. I never said that all Egyptions were bad. There is a right and a wrong way to do business and what I saw in Cairo was the wrong way. You guys have absolutly no idea what it's like. People on the street will just grab you by the arm and start taking you somewhere you don't know expecting "baksheesh" afterwards. When I was at Giza, When I took my money out to pay for a camel, the guy took money out of my hand before I even knew what I had given him. The "surprise" I was referring to at the KFC is this 10-12 year old kid handing out towels when your done washing your hands. Once you start to walk out he'll block the door and not move until you give him money. The kid practically reached in my pocket to get money. I understand that he is just trying to make a living, but that is definatly not the right way to do it. I talked to many other tourists and they all shared my sentiments.

That's the way business is done in alot of countries bro. I realize that the experience is not like what you'd see here in BC but in alot of nations, the piper plays a much different tune. I'm surprised you haven't seen more of what you did travelling in other countries, especially where tourists are abundant. If you didn't like the scene near the pyramids, don't even consider the Taj Mahal in India. People are almost throwing you into their taxis and into their shops to get your money. In countries where the population is much higher and living conditions are lower, you have to do what you must to put food on the table. Western business manners are not of their concern. It's not worse than here, just different. Plus, it has it's advantages also that you can't enjoy in western countries, like the ability to access many more goodies (incl. gear) if you have the $$, and the ability to negotiate the price on just about anything. Try doing that at the local Sears.

You know what else you missed PAT. The local food. I can't imagine travelling all the way from America just to eat at the CFK! You should have tried the Kaware' and Lahmet ElRas. Great stuff. Too bad your vacation wasn't good. And too bad you didn't make any friends here, they would have made it more enjoyable. Anyway, hope you enjoy your next vacation in Hawaii or Cyprus. I guess there are many countries closer to some tourists' taste.

Thanks Iron Game. I'm from upper Egypt. I'm a "Sa'idi".

Where are you from?

I`ve been there also and yes everybody there wants your money. I don`t want to offend egyptians but they should change their attitude to the tourists. I`m not from a rich country and I don`t care how rich egyptians are. I`ve seen tons of gold in Hurghada and shit around the roads near these shops. Very strange country.
The sea is beautyful however and from my experience its the best sea I have ever seen.
I`ve been in Luxor also. It was very interesting and some people were friendly but most of them are just greedy I guess.

All of you cutting on the USA because of one dumb fuck from CANADA ....YOU"LL CAN KISS MY ASS

Apparently some of you have a problem with the USA to be so quick as assume that PAT is from here....

For all that don't know there is a border between USA and Canada

I really don't care where anyone is from.. ignorance is ignorance.....

I am from America and vacationed in Egypt 4 years ago. It was one of the BEST vacations I have ever had. The people could not have been more friendly. I did not like the camel jockeys at all. Neither do most Egyptians. You cannot judge a whole country by your experience with them. I would go back to Egypt in a minute. I'm sorry that you had a bad time. As to everyone wanting money, that's just the way it is in most 3rd world countries. If you ask someone for help and just give them a dollar they will go out of their way to help you and see to it that you find what you are looking for.

Big Guns, I agree with you about giving someone a dollar or two for a little help.

For all others...... Some of these people ,that how they earn a living, jobs are not as plentiful as in other countries.....

Is there no compassion in your heart or what...

peace,
bass

You guys need to chill out ASAP.

I've been to more third-world countries than any of you
guys and they all have one common denominator.

People wanting to make a fast buck.

Does this make a country shit? NO.

Its just a few individuals.

Secondly, most of the time tourists still have "US-prices"
as their mind-set.

These people know this.

What do they do? They charge tourists what a taxi ride would
cost in the US, which just happens to be 15-20 times more
than local prices.(sometimes even more)

This is almost un-avoidable.

Enjoy the monuments, landscapes, the FOOD(Probably
the best attribute of a country), and other things(beaches,
museums etc.. etc..) The list is endless.

The only thing I don't like about third-world countries is that
the crime rate is VERY HIGH. If you don't know the
"bad" spots you could end up mugged or even dead.
Thats why its better to go with a tour guide.

And remember, most people in thirld-world countries hate
AMERICANS because of your attitude. I've NEVER had ANY
problems anywhere and I've been to REALLY REALLY bad
parts of the world(Bosnia and Albania being some), and
not acting "stuck-up" really does make a difference.
Most americans always get into problems because
of their "prima-donna" attitude.

If you want luxury, go to a resort and be pampered.
If you go to a country such as Egypt be ready to "rough" it.

In the end we're all human beings.

Godspeed

.

IRON GAME
damn bro , lighten up on the live like a king thing ok? while the u.s. does have its advantages, not all of us are livin in the lap of luxury here. most of us are hard workin joes who bust there asses every day to get what we have. and while i have never been to a 3rd world country, im not going to sit here and badmouth other people just to be doin it. im not going to be judge of other people and theyre habits, bad or good.

peace bb79

Another tip for you guys wanting to go to Egypt, when somebody asks you if this is your first time in Egypt, say no. I got that question asked about 100 times and I thought that they were just being friendly but they just want to know if youv'e been burned before and know how to deal with them. Fonz, I've been to both Bosnia and Albania, and pretty much all Eastern European countries for that matter, and I haven't seen anything like what I saw in Egypt. Jae, I never got your email, pm me bro.

CUT THE SHIT!!!!!

Especially all you mutha fuckas talkin that "spoiled american" shit. Unless you been to a ghetto in the US don't talk no shit mutha fucker. All you sorry mark ass fucks. You willl get your asses shot the fuck up in the us ghetto. i served in the us military and was sent on plenty assignments in 3rd world countries around the world based on my background growing up in the hood. When a muh fucka talked shit about me not knowin' how stank they livin' i just laughed. Stank and poor is stank and poor ALL OVER THE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!
