What's up guys and gals? I'm gonna be heading down under in a couple months, probably the end of august...I'll be all over the place, but probably be near sydney alot...But I'll definitely be going to fiji and new zealand for a couple days a piece, at least.

Can anyone fill me in on things to do, places to go, etc...I wanna make the most out of my time there...I'm 21, so I'm thinkin bars, clubs, and other random fun shit, ya know? So anything you can tell me about the party scene, and stuff like bungee jumping, surfing, skydiving, etc...would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks alot!

tons of awseome surfing in australia obviously, and if your serious about it, not just out to get a tan and pick up chicks winter is easily the best time to do so.

im westcoast so i cant really help you to much as far as breaks and stuff go, but if your really looking to shit your pants hit up shark island in crunulla, sydney. most intense.

I'd love to go balls to the wall...but I'll be there with my girlfriend, and she's kind of a beginner...so basically I'll just be takin it easy and catchin some sun.

Hey Bulldog,

Plenty to do in Sydney.

As far as beaches go, you've got over 30 kilometers worth of beaches.

Best tourist beaches are Manly to the north of the city and Bondi in the eastern suburbs (both are Sydney's most famous beaches)

Best surf beaches are Cronulla, North Narrabeen, Maroubra, Curl Curl, Bronte.

Most scenic beaches are Palm Beach, Bilgola, Long Reef.

All of the above are surf beaches.

If you're looking for beaches with no surf (ie:waves) then some nice spots are Balmoral, Nelson Park, Clontarf.

As far as clubs: HOME nightclub, Tank, the Establishment, DCM, Cargo Bar, Q-Bar. The areas with the best nightlife are Darling Harbour, Oxford Street and Kings Cross/Darlinghurst. All of those areas are in the inner city.

The bridge climb is cool.......costs a bit of money to do, but the views from the top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge are breathtaking.....once in a lifetime stuff.

There really is so much to see and do........but my bet is, once you've discovered Sydney's beaches, that's where you will keep going. They are truly awesome.

Ok, now it seems like I'm not going to be in sydney...Looking more and more like fiji and the surrounding islands. Anyone know some cool shit to do around that area? I'm gonna go for 2 weeks, I'm thinking one week of partying, and then one week of relaxing with the girlfriend. Any ideas are appreciated:)

I was in fiji on my way to Australi for a semester...it's beautiful but if you're not banging out your girl the whole time on the beach their is not much to do...go to Beachcomber island if you get a chance, it is where all the people our age go....the only downside is that no AC sucks but oh well, the place is amazingly gorgeous....tickets to Sydney from fiji run pretty cheap, especially if you are a student so you can swing there for a few days...you are pretty close to Thailand and that place is dope, plus you can go into rite aid and by any type of gear you want...hope this helps, any more questions PM me or post
