Yeah Navy and AF are reducing the force . They have some program called "Blue to green" Where you get out of the AF/Navy early and just go stright to the Army without passing go. No BMT, you keep the same rank and all that shit.

Easy on the Army comments.....By the way Marines do beat up other soldiers. I have seen a lot of fighting, between branches. But we all know its good and dandy, and as soon as we are at war we team up and kill mother fuckers with consistency

IRR Marines are activated every year. Whether we are at war or not. I spent 12+ yrs in the Marine Corps and have been out for about a year now. IRR Marines fill gaps for any MOS that is in need of experienced, prior service men, usually Reserve Unit MOS fields. You and the other guy can't use activating the IRR as your proof of the US Military needing people. It is BECAUSE of the IRR that the Military doesn't need a draft and will never be hurting for people for the next 30+ yrs. I don't believe you two even know what the IRR is. It's not like they activate 1,000's of people. Certain Units activate a few men/women and then the news hears about it and makes the public believe there have been hundreds of people called up. I also believe that is where you two get your info from...the news.



BTW- IRR is INDIVIDUAL Ready Reserve...read the individual part and look that word up if needed.

LMAO!! There are ~ 175,000 Marines in the AD side. There are only 140,000 Americans in the Middle East from every Branch. You do the math and if you can make that same statement then you are retarded. There are over 100,000 Marines (AD and a lot more Reserve) that have never been to Iraq and most will not go.
