i have always thought it was interesting listening to other men wax philosophical about what women want, need etc... how male lawmakers and politicians forge laws concerning women's bodies and what they can and cant do with them. it is difficult for most men to see women as autonomous equals. we are quick to brand someone as a "bitch" if she is assertive or aggressive. god forbid she enjoys sex then she is a whore. the male ego is a fragile device.

before I got married, for me it was always looks first (but then, I was just a teenager, anyways...), I didnt like quite guys, he had to be outgoing and not be too skinny. Now that I am married, I am not looking, so I dont even know what traits would I like if I was still single. Probably looks would be first again.
