attn george!!!! urgent scandalous problem that needs your attention asap!!!!

k powers are no longer accurate since the change over to the new formulas!!!!
(this is why i had a very difficult time figuring out the % deduction on a plat red hit)
klubacca aka soklueles has a kamas power of 213 but only hits for 170!!!!!!!!
a little while ago she found an outstanding post of mine to approve and i did not get the full credit for it that i deserved, this saddens hammy :(
apparently no one is hitting for what their k power states anymore, its less for everyone!!!!!!!!
i saw an outstanding post that you made and i wanted to hit you up with some green for it, but i dont want to cheat you out of what you should really be getting for a hammylicious hit!!!!!!!
i am guessing that whatever formula was put into the bat computer was entered wrong somehow!!!!!!!!!!!
i think me and logician need to have a sit down meeting and get to the bottom of this.
please respond asap and tell me what you think and we can set up a meeting of the minds

I just hit Hammy for the awesome insight of this thread, who had 1715605 prior to my hit of what should be 53, giving the Jedi Lord 1715658, but he only wound up with 1715653
 
so why do i hit for 41 less than what it says?
is it because of my posts or what?
gymgurl hits for like 14 less than what hers says

george i am hearing whispers of a class action lawsuit being brought up (this was not hammys idea so dont shoot the messenger) by members of ef, to get their back owed karmas paid to them that they should of had since this glitch came into effect
it looks like for about 1000 karmas earned in outstanding posts we are being shorted about 200pts, this adds up quickly if you are an outstanding poster
please can we get this fixed before riots start on the board!!!!!!!!

A note to me: Work on your marketing skills.

I submitted a report to support a week or so ago on this and they said that they are looking into it. I guess by now they'll have their "Top Men" working on it.

My best explanation is that the Karma Power as displayed is being calculated at 500 posts per point but the hit itself is being calculated at 1500 posts.

Here's an example calculation from last week:

If you want to test it, just make a note of my K Hits before you give me the Green and compare with after.
 
I just realized I'm hitting 237 intead of 249... those are 360 K going to K purgatory every 24 hours... only from my side.

I calculated this travesty is costing me about 8000 k PER WEEK in lost revenue

The porgrammer made the wrong calculations when he/she implemented the new karma system.

I'm convinced that it's being done deliberately on the off-chance that Plats will donate the shortfall and then EF can make a killing in taxes and the 30 Karma admin charge.
 
Try this, mouseover the Green Karma icon next to your recent Karma Hit. It should tell you how much the hit was worth. Which means it would be 100% of a Plat's Karmic Power at the time of the hit and 50% of a non-Plat's Karmic Power.

thats cool george i never knew it did that
but when i do it, it is not 100% of the plats k power, it is less, sometimes up to 40 pts less than what their k power states

Well, hit me with Green and Red right now, and I'll check it. Remember, it should only be accurate for the Karmic power at the time of the hit. Karmic Power is not a constant.

George, if you open up the admin panel for me (digger screen capped it yesterday) you will see my karmic power listed as less then 400, however on my posts it says my karmic power is 400+. There is a disconnect somewhere.

I hit George. His Karma Hits score was 55393 before, and 55666 after my hit. That means I hit him for 273 points. Yet my Karma Power is listed as 289. So where did the missing 16 points go?

yep, it seems to be fixed, a plat just approved one of my morning posts and upon comparation of the hit-value to the advertised under the name of the approver, the 2 match.

I think Blut deserves a reward George, as a token of goodwill

No, only on negative. Positive is 100% for both.
