At what point are you taking in to much whey shakes a day?

How many shakes a day can one have before they start to feel weird/sick from it. Im talking protein amount and how many a day. Please only post from personal experiences for how you felt about your gains/health while taking a certain amount of shakes a day. Right now Im taking two a day but Im also "on" so I think it definatly helps. Its hard to eat so much protein everyday!
 
When you are a lazy pile of shit like I was in august with no appetite and went through 10 lbs of whey in 5 weeks.

Other than first thing in the morning, post workout, and possibly casein before bed i would say anything else is too much. If your eating 5-6 real food meals a day and supplementing with shakes in between to jack up the calories or to get even more protein then I would say fine. You will not grow off of one or two meals and a shit load of shakes. Not saying you are trying, just saying.
Honestly, post workout is the only real important one. Even that one isnt life or death.
What I am tring to say is, Fuck shakes, eat food!
 
Right now I take in about 690 grams of protein per day and a 175 grams of that comes from whey. If i even miss one scoop of the whey I feel empty, like there is something missing, almost like a craving. I think im addicted to whey. No stomach problems at all. I noticed that the more protein I eat, the bigger I get... There is never too much whey.
 
Lol good to hear, bro how much do you fricken weigh??? 690 grams!!! Im taking in around 300. I am eating 6 solid meals so its good to hear the shakes wont kill me lol.

I agree, im a big big believer in high protein , none of this 1g per lb of body weight shit, i aim for atleast 2.5 - 3g per pound of protein. two big whey shakes(75g protein) a day is all i take in from shakes but
 
I weigh about 265 at 14% BF and have been eating about 7k cals. I don't think you can ever have too much protein, just make sure each meal has 16oz of meat or fish and you're good to go.
 
right now im only getting protein from food. well once in a while I'll buy a shake at the gym right after working out. But no $$ for whey right now. But when I was in school I was downing like 3-4 N-Large shakes a day, lol. think of whey as a supplement, only use it when you have no other choice really.
