Can clomid cause gyno? I heard it can make gyno worst and i heard it can make it better

The only anti E I have at the moment is nolva mixed with clomid

it's 10mg Nolva per 50mg clomid

my nipples have been puffy for awhile and now i have a huge lump and it hurts like a bitch!! :worried: :worried:

I have never heard of that, and I dont know that it's possible. Clomid sparks natural production of test, with that said, even though it causes your body to produce it, your body only produces what it needs, it's still regulated and measured. Being mixed with nolva I would definately say NO.

I would second what Indy says. . .the only thing that I would question is whether it's possible that clomid could cause excess natural testosterone production (I think that it probably can), in which case the excess test could potentially be converted to estrogen. However, if your tabs are a combo with nolva, I would think that this would help to negate such an effect.

Anyone else??

Seems logical doesn't it, thing that shook me was that they are mixed, never seen that before, so you need a high dose of clomid to get the needed dose of Nolva.......other than the ratio, not a bad idea.

Clomid is an anti-e also. It's very similar to Nolvadex, although Nolvadex works better at blocking the estrogen receptor in breast tissue.

From my understanding, both are under the anti - e test producing category. Even if the clomid amped up excess testosterone production in your body, its anti-estrogen effects would effectively block the estrogen from attaching itself to the receptors. If your nipples have been puffy for awhile now then it is safe to say that this didn't just spring up on you. Try intorducing the anti-e's earlier.

clomid will not cause gyno.

If you have gyno symptions (itchy/sore nips) you need NOLVA ASAP. 40-80mg per day until all symptoms go away, then drop to 20mg a day (or even 10mg) and see if you are ok.. if symptoms come back up the dose again.

Clomid is a very weak anti-e and if you are already feeling the gyno I wouldn't mess with it, i'd go straight to nolva. Forget that solution you have bro, you need straight nolva.

Yeah, but I think that it's an anti-e (in guys at least. . .in women, clomid actually increases estrogen levels) because it triggers (among other things) testosterone production which, if you're low on natural test (as many people with fertility problems are, that's why they are the normal "clinical" users) does not present a problem. But, what if your natural test level is normal? Will clomid cause your testes to produce excess testosterone and, if so, what happens to that excess test??

If you're coming off of a cycle, this shouldn't be a problem because, presumably, your natural test production is extremely low or non-existent. But, what happens when it isn't low and maybe you don't know it because (like me) you don't run out and get a friggin blood test everytime you turn around? I'm just saying, it seems to me that the potential exists.

No, that's not why it's an anti-e. It blocks the estrogen receptor just like Nolvadex, but it's not as strong as nolvadex. You have to keep in mind that nolvadex and clomid are both weak estrogens. That's why they fit in the receptor, but don't relay the message that estrogen does.

Yeah, clomid has been used to treat gyno, not cause it. Though it wasn't nearly as effective as nolva at treating it. but if you are taking 200mg of clomid a day, you might wanna let everyone know to watch out for your pms and mood swings :(
