As I've gotten older its definitely slowed down (to match my sex drive), but I still don't have any desires to find the "one" and settle down. I am however honest with women about my dating (or lack of) policies, and most are fine with it (or they have the belief that I'll change for them, which is no fault of mine).

i get his point though. finding someone to love you isn't that hard though. Finding someone you WANT to be loved by, is.

i for one have always been hesitant to waste my time or energy on someone that i don't think is exceptional. even if they look great and i have the opportunity, something inside me doesn't allow me to care or even want to have sex with them unless there is something deeper.
