Arnolds calves

Arnold really had it nailed when he came up with the idea of not hiding his calves anymore. It really forced him to work on them, or feel self conscious all the time.

So you mean he trained them heavy, and progressivly, switching his routine from time to time. Wow - let the revolution begin. Sorry, but the oldies did it w/ heavy weights and progression. He does say patience in that article at least once...

I did like how he equated each calfs ability to hold your entire BW easily to how much you should be calf pressing.

Try 75's.
Nelson posted this last wk or so.
Use a weight that you can get 75reps out of with as many sets as you need but only taking 10sec breaks between each set.
ex.

Set 1 30reps
10sec break
Set 2 15reps
10sec break
Set3 9reps...... and so on until reaching 75 reps.

I just started this, trying to switch things up a bit because I also have trouble getting my calves to grow.
I started doing this about 4 weeks ago. It might just be mental, but they seem slightly larger/fuller. Can't walk for about 4 days either.

I just started last wk. I've been doing 5 sets of 75's/wk.

I did something similar aim was to get between 75-100 reps. Tried to do it twice a week. It works. Mine have gone from 15.25 to 17.25 in about a year. You got to go heavy as shit and you will be limping when done. I alternated calf exercises.

Is that all your doing for calves? I think I do too many exercises for em when really I should concentrate on one. Like seated calf raises.
