The governor of CA has taken a stance with some balls. he has supported the Minuteman project in AZ, said that he would have no objection to the project expanding to CA, and has criticized the federal government for not doing its job.

Interesting stance. President Bush has called the Minuteman patrols "vigilantes".

I love it. I support Arnold 100% - I think LEGAL immigration is good for the US, and I think it should be easy, but controlled.

That's a very ballsy move especially for a governor of such a liberal state. Arnold keeps impressing me more and more. He doesn't seem to be the stereotypical republican but I'm not saying that as an insult to repubs. He seems very liberal on some things yet very conservative on other issues.

When you figure in the ethnic demographics of california -- it's even more astounding he would take a position that could easily be construed as "anti-mexican". No doubt he's risking votes at the expense of "doing what's right".
