The only thing right I did on my first license test was parallel park...For whatever reason I am awesome at parallel parking. Now I just need to find a girl willing to get in the car with me so I can impress her.

lol funny you should say this because I am a stickler for precise parking - parallel or otherwise. And a pet peeve of mine is someone who doesnt park in between the lines or parks too close to one of the lines thereby making it near impossible for someone else to park beside them. I mumble under my breath a lot when i see this type of behavior. also, i have been known to leave one-word notes on people's windshields when i come out to my car to see that ive nearly been blocked in on the drivers side by someone who parks like a retarded asshole.

My wife runs into everything it seems. She always backs into the plastic dumpsters on the street (hasn't done it in awhile though), she hit the garage at our old house. She's curb checked my 22" wheels on my car like 3-4 times. I could go on..
She wanted a new Range Rover, and I told her that if she could go a year without hitting anything i'd buy her one. At this rate she's never going to make it. LOL

I've been driving since i was 16 (i'm 74 now) and i've never had an accident.
no tickets either.
I don't accept the "I've never had any tickets" from the wimminz. If your good lookin' most officers will let you off the hook.

Nowadays a lot of people avoid parallel parking. To scared I guess. Whenever I'm with someone and I see a chance to parallel park I'll tell them to get out and let me park it....aint gonna waste that time looking for another parking space...no way!

Unless it's an AMG, most Mercs are slow. Even the SLs (not slow in true sense but for what they are and what engines they have)

well it's all relative. mercedes are very heavy.
i've owned 6 porsches and a viper so i'm pretty hard to impress. i don't need
blinding acceleration. if i was looking for that i'd buy a new ferrari or
porsche turbo. i'm a lil older now and i want civility.

ML SUVs are perfect for a higher end SUV - don't quite make the same class as the Range Rover, X5 or Audi but definitely a lot cheaper and still luxury. Depreciation on them is quite a bit more though.
I don't know if the same applies to the US, but it definitely does over here.
Layinback, it has something to do with weight but Merc can make their cars considerably faster even at that weight, it's more of an engineering thing

I've never been turned ON by driving or parking, but I have been turned OFF by bad driving/parking (I also fucking HATE tailgating! I literally start to panic if the car I'm riding in doesn't follow the 3 second rule, my ex used to do it just to see me get on the verge of tears).

i like the look but we are soooo over SUV's. i don't wanna be negative but my
mercedes mechanic said the M class is having lots of trouble with electronic
transmission.
we have 2 family vehicles. i want something "sporty" but classy and practical.
i have a lil CLK 300 cabriolet but i need something with more power. the SL600
IS A BAD ASS RIDE! i may not get one right now but it'll be my next car.
