there is a difference between being mopey or down in the dumps, and full blown clinical depression.
if you aren't feeling great, the day just sucks, hell, the week sucks - that is nothing. then I agree that yes, you have control over that, and if you can't handle it, then toughen up.
but clinical depression is a whole different deal.
unless you have been through it, it is easy to spout off how it is nothing, and how the drugs don't matter.
do I think everyone needs drugs? no.
do I think america is overperscribing them? yes.
but for the most part, I'm disappointed with a few people on this thread.
