i strongly believe that someone does NOT have to be your intellectual equal to be in love with them

Its certainly not a REQUIREMENT.

But from what I have found in my dating experience is.. my most satisfying realtionships and deepest connections have all been with women who were my intellectual equal or better... I really look for intelligence first (well second, after a little bit of physical attraction). It is certainly a requirement for me.

I got annulled over a playboy layout. Men are very uptight about there ladies. I don’t think I could expect my husband to be okay with stripping though. Especially if you are planning to one day have children. But of course you did know what she did when you got together with her. So really you should not want to change her. You made that decision to be with her knowing what she does. So it is really up to her. But I agree that you should not go and see her that would just leave horrible images in your mind.

most do blow, do other customers, do other strippers...

And when they come home -- put on that facade that they're all innocent, perfect, moral, secure women who are doing this purely for the job and leave it at that.

Reality is the opposite. Sure you may find a good girl there. Sure the relationship might be great. But EVENTUALLY she's gonna have to leave there soon. I've never seen someone date a stripper and she kept working there for the next 15 years. If she did -- eventually it'll mess up her head. The lifespan for women to do stripping and leave with their morals, values, ethics and emotions intact is around 2 years.

I think we can all easily _picture_ that stripper who's been stripping for 12 years and what she looks like.

Funny, but im sorry, your wrong, my fiance has danced for 15 years in january, over 10 years in one club, and looks fine =) dont think the moral issues goes for everyone, its stereotyped thoughts.

That was it. We were dating for many years before I did it and I decided to do it without really discussing it with him. Which I know was wrong but I knew he would not approve. I think it is an honor to be asked to do that. So I told him I was and he asked me how many pictures were going to be published and I was not really sure. But when it was published he really hated that all his friends that have known us for years saw me naked. He was also unhappy with the amount that was published as well. We fought about it all the time. So that is what lead to our break up. But now I realize that was the best thing for me.

It's a double-edged sword. If I were him, I would only be pissed that you did it without telling me, and secondly NO, I would not want friends we both knew to see you naked......that's not cool. If they see you naked, they might as well be fucking you too. I think any reasonable man would probably have ended the relationship under these circumstances.

American women are a bit too independent these days.......

The % of strippers who do blow/weed/speed compared to the general population is like 3X higher.

The same can be said of musicians who are alcoholics. I won't lie -- there's a higher % of musicians who drink too much alcohol than the general public either.

Many stereotypes are there -- cuz they're true.

And yes i've dated probably 10 strippers over the year. Each had their own annoying set of problems. None of them i could ever trust. The fact that 10 of them had similar problems (unless it's an la thang) confirmed my suspicion on the issues of strippers.
