fawk...i haven't worked out in a couple of weeks since my accident and have been eating 1/2 of what i normally do. i still look ok, fairly lean but a brutal reminder of how quickly i can lose size.
hopefully a few weeks of training hard/eating big will fill me out again

anyone else in a workout rut?

this is CC though...where 90% of people are in a perpetual workout rut

Negative. For the first time in over a year, I am gaining. I started a new routine and gained 5-6 lbs in 6 weeks.

is this due to physical or emotional injury bro?

GABA is king, I live off it and gain daily.

You talk up GABA alot MM. Should I give it a go? For the $$ it seems really cheap..

what can you train? what limits? i started a 20 rep SQ program, 3 times a week, doing less than an hours work. it's been awesome so far...

I haven't worked out since November and I've gone running a handfull of times and I must confess I'm feeling quite sloth like.

I've been lifting and getting bigger and stronger, but I've been completely unmotivated to do cardio. It's been maybe 2 months aside from a random stair climber session at a poozay level. I've been eating like I still do intervals 4x/ wk though because I'm smart and disciplined. My 4-pack has become a party ball.

abs are for starving immigrants that floated to our country on a fucking door and had a diet of leather belts and shoes. maybe a rat, if they were quick enough....

I like the way you think, Harriet_Target.

Haven't trained much due to travel. I have this terrible little issue where my brain realizes that I travel maybe a week every 3-4 weeks so it thinks "why train 2 weeks in a row when you'll have to travel and train the next 2 weeks".

i had such an issue maintaining bodyweight when i was younger. now, i don't need roids, hell, even lite beer puts on massive poundage. damn the theme restaurants....i had fucking tilapia last night.

I'm shrinking and it's getting depressing. I have a shoulder injury that just won't heal, so I haven't been able to train my upper body much for the last 2 months. I figured since I can't train my upper body much, I'd concentrate on legs, abs and cardio and try to lose some body fat, so I've been dieting as well. My upper body just feels flat as hell now.

My new boss took me out to lunch yesterday and I was thinking we'd end up at friday's or some shit. Muthafucka took me to a buffet restaurant where we were the youngest there by maybe 30 years. I ate a whole chicken and mac 'n cheese. I'm pretty sure I've already laid a yard of cable this morning.

i can drink almost a half gallon of beer at one of those places and not think twice about it. that's my biggest problem. and the gaddang appetizers......but i always tell myself "enjoy it, fattie" because i'll be mind-torturing you during the next set of SQ's....

I haven't drank for a week and am actually seeing less of teh blot as a result. If I cut my salt and actually cardioize myself I'll be decent in a month.

i truly dislike the vanity attached to the abz thing, but in reality, if i wanna be a dad tossing the ball around w/my boy or having tea parties w/my daughter, i gotta stop teh power eating/drinking...

That's more my concern. I can still sprint and my explosive power is great, but I don't want to get all worn out just running around the park or taking kiddo on hikes. 215 lbs @ 5'9" feels heavy at 9,000 ft after 6 miles of hiking.

I have only been lifting weights seriously for a couple months. I have been so focused on so long on LOSING weight. Now I have actually put on a few pounds and was getting pissed about it. They I noticed that my hips are getting skinnier and my ribs poke out more so I guess I'm gaining muscle. I threw out the scale for now.

I workout still 5 or 6 days per week faithfully as I have for a looong time. Just being busy and somewhat stressed has caused me to lose 5 or 6 pounds in the last month or two. I'm not very big anyway so will have to be careful. Weighed in at a whopping 106 a couple of days ago.

i havnt trained properly in 2 months - which means ive averaged about 1.5 workouts a week, and crap workouts at that

first proper workout was yesterday, and my glutes hurt just from picking up the 100lb dumbbells to do my back - a sure sign that my body is currently made of chewed up bubblegum :(
