Anyone Carnival Cruise to Encenada since 9/11???

I will be hopping the ship to Encenada in a few weeks and I was wondering if any members have been there since 9/11. If so how tight are they checking bags to get back on the boat in Mexico? Any personal recent border experiences would be helpful.

I was in encenada over thankgiving, I didn't cruise in tho...
Drove in from diego. Customs was easy,
I got checked even less than in the past.
But again, that was driving in.
Shop shelves were full, prices were the usual.
I prefer it over T.J. but that's just me.
