Anybody tried Adequan injections for joints?

no but i'd consider it. how's it worked for you, and where to inject? my problem isn't in the muscle, it's internal to the knee, ligament/catilage, etc.

Prior to just this last week, and for the last 14 months I have been injecting IM. However upon advice from my very well trusted source I have been experminting with direct injection. I pinch up the skin at the upper inside corner of my patella and shoot in at the base of the pinched up mass. When using this method I only use 1/4 cc. So far I am very happy doing it this way. (I use a slin pin but put the needle it till I feel it bounce off my patella. You will know when you hit it, it kinda wakes you up.)

YES it does. I've had a 16g needle jammed 2" into my knee to pull out fluid on many occasions, and the local anesthetic is worthless.

I haven't tried any direct (intraarticular) injections of Adequan, but if I can find some material written on it, I might give it a go.

Just a word about that though: I am of the understanding that knee joints are very easily infected, and it requires a more sterile environment to do that kind of injection, vs. intramuscular whereby a healthy person has very little risk of tissue infection.

Thanks for the heads up bro! The protocol that I follow for all injection is as follow,
Heat vial-to reduce pain.
Wipe vial top with alcolhol for 15 seconds.
Wipe injection site the same.
Repeat 2 more times.

Of course always wash hand thouroly with soap and water too.
