right now im trying to consume about 300-350 grams of protein . do you guys see any problems with me getting 200 grams(4 servings of isopure) and the remaining 100 -150 from real food?....btw ISOPURE is ion-exchange whey

Real food is the best way to get your intake of protein. Isopure is a supplement just like it should be to supplement your nutritional needs. 2 servings should suffice thats 100 grams of protein :) The rest is up to you chicken , tuna, cottage cheese, etc...

ok...thanks guys...its just that i dont have the time to prepare food ...and drinking those shakes are much easier on my stomach, they digest very fast and im hungry within a hour or so, so its makes eating 7 meals pretty easy.

I use those shakes between meals with fruit, and before bedtime. The rest of protein I get from real food. Dunno what intake is... I just know that I take in high protein/high carbs/moderate fat.

also take ginger root with every meal you take 500-1000mgs.help you take down more protein..do a search for it "MARCO" had a great post on it long ago.....

thanks ultra..im gonna check that out.....but do you think there is anything wrong with getting the majority of your protein from supplements?

I only drink one protein shake daily, it's better to get the bulk of your protein from whole food sources, plus the frequency of drinks you need with whey protein is kind of a hassel...

YUM

protein from supplements...

IMO, I do not see anything wrong with it. Protein is protein, no matter what form it come in. It all gets broken down in your stomach anyway. Right??

Eating can be a real hassle, so I drink alot of shakes. It's easier to suck down 16oz of protein than to eat a chicken breast or can of tuna when you have to run to a meeting or drive in your car. But when I have the oppurtunity I eat as much chicken, eggs, milk and fish as I can. When I am not traveling for work, I eat one serving of fish, one serving of chicken, 1 dozen egg whites, 1 gallon of skim milk and have about three or four protein shakes as well.
