Any steroids that increase DHT?

Anyone know of any steroids that increase dht significantly? I have low dht according to my recent blood tests, but my total testosterone is normal at 500. I've been to a doctor to try to get dht cream to bring it back up, but he won't prescribe dht cream for nothing. He claims that low dht is a good thing and that the only thing dht is good for is hair loss. I have access to test e at my local gym and was wondering if that would have a significant effect on dht. I'm not necessarily using it to bulk up, I just want to use it to help me to grow a beard. I'm 28 and still only shave once a month. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is Proviron something I may be able to find at a gym?

Not if you want to go and ask a guy if he can get you some illegal drugs and end up with a pair of spouses around your wrists.

Oh, and may you read the rules next time. Any discussion of how to acquire illegal drugs is strictly against the rules here. Don't do it again.

Well.... proviron isn't actually dht. If you wanted to actually increase DHT you would wanna take testosterone because it converts into DHT.

Actually...it is.

lol, good one nelson. So you are saying all methylated drugs are the same as before this process. Read the question and read my answer. I answered the question and you just gave him advice on what to do. He could also take masteron which is much better IMO too. Not that I knoack your advice but you're just being stubborn here because you are wrong. DHT can be bought just like proviron bro, it's just way less uncommon to find. Thanks

What are you talking about bro? He asked what increased DHT. Proviron is an orally active form of DHT. If one were to take Proviron their DHT will be elevated. How am I wrong?

Test. Proviron is derived from dht, and mimics dht, but it's its own compound. Structurally very similar to dht. If you want to increase ACTUAL dht, then test is the only way.

Having a beard is a blessing to those who don't have one, and a curse to those who do.

Personally, I would like to have the thickest beard possible. Just to have that 5 o clock shadow look, and be able to grow
THICK facial hair.

So, how's about he try some test E, as WELL as proviron, and see where he ends up?

What I am wondering, good bros, is would this actually help in the long run with his dht levels, and not merely whilst the compounds are active in his body?

Proviron is a derivative of DHT, not actual DHT. Therefore, it will not raise DHT levels. Increase your 5-alpha-reductase levels and take testosterone. (Testosterone cream on the nuts is probably the most effective due to high levels of 5-AR in the scrotal skin). This begs the question, why in the hell would you want more DHT??????

Man, you guys are spitting hairs! PROVIRON WILL INCREASE DHT. The fact that it isn't being converted is semantic minutiae.

Yes, test will cause a DHT conversion but it's still an exogenous source so there's absolutely no difference, other than Proviron in more direct.

Has anyone realized Proviron is so hard on the hairline? DHT! If I were to choose another steroid, I'd say Winny. ANY androgen will convert to DHT but these do so more so.

And not for nothing, but if the guy is having a problem converting DHT, then more test may not help him. He'll need a DIRCT FORM OF ACTIVE DHT. That makes Proviron the best choice.

Offer other opinions but don't say something is wrong when it is unequivocally correct.

Yes, it sounded like I was splitting hairs, sorry. Actually, what I meant was Proviron, while being androgenic in chemistry, in practice does not have the same effects as real DHT (except perhaps libido) because it is inactivated and downregulated by so many mechanisms. Surprisingly, it actually has a very low androgenic rating. I've used it before without any side-effects. Then again, I don't have a problem with hair loss.

The question had nothing to do with anabolic rating.

Proviron is sometimes prescribed for latent pubity in boys -- making it the most logical choice for the posters problem.

All members should be aware of paying attention to the questions before offering what is essentially medical advice.

I wish I only had to shave my BACK once a month!

Nothing is going to increase your DHT except DHT. Try another doctor. It seems to me that DHT cream applied topically to the area where you want hair growth would be the thing to do.

FYI, I believe Beastdrol is a methylated version of Masteron, another DHT derivative. Its very effective for muscle growth, but because its 17aa I wouldn't recommend taking it to grow a beard.

Anyone have any bloodtests before and after a beastdrol cycle? I was thinking that if I started on beastdrol and added test e after 2 or 4 weeks it would definitely have an effect on dht levels.

proviron (or mesterolone) is DHT (or di-hydro testosterone) in it's purest form... Testosterone must be converted into DHT by the body's natural functions (around the crotch area).. can we now all agree on this please?

We can agree on it when people stop talking out their backside, stubbornly insisting that Proviron is DHT "in its purest form". I notice you took the time to show us how smart you are by referring to both of their chemical names, mesterolone and dihydrotestosterone, but the fact is Proviron certainly is not DHT "in its purest form". In fact, its not real DHT at all. Its a synthetic derivative of DHT. Taking Proviron won't increase your blood levels of DHT, it will increase your blood levels of mesterolone.

It may be debatable whether it will help you grow a beard or not. It is not debatable whether it will increase DHT. Strictly speaking, it won't.
