Are they a good protein source at night before going to bed? also is it safe to take them uncooked I'm skeptical about bacteria or parasites in raw food, thanks.
I regularly drink the liquid egg whites straight out of the carton. They are pasteurized so they are safe to drink as is. You do not need to cook them.
It might sound disgusting but they have a neutral slightly sweet taste. The taste is very similar to skim milk.
