Any Lawyers? I have a ?

Get advice for sure, if it gets that far. But there's one thing for sure: Just say you lied on FB, and since you weren't under penalty of perjury when you wrote it, you're off the hook. That's my un-professional view.

I have a sticky one going on right now, similar but different. I witnessed a bad crash between a sheriff's deputy and another car. The truth is that the siren wasn't working right, and the other driver couldn't hear it. But now the other driver's lawyer is wishing I'd point a finger at the deputy, and the Sheriff's Internal Affairs Bureau called me in downtown last week, and is asking me to re-think it so as it's the kid's fault. But I'm sticking to the truth, and if I get hauled in to court, I'll say what neither side wants to hear...... The truth. I'm stubborn.

I currently work for the state, and about 2 yrs ago I wrote an incident report on something that happened at work, that I was there and witnessed. A guy got hit by a car. I was in the vehicle as a passenger, I didnt see him hit him jsut heard the thud and got out and seen he had hit someone. I recently mentioned that incident on a facebook group saying "I was there and seen it with my own eyes" and now they are trying to get me for falsifying a govt document? They are trying to turn it around saying I said I saw the actual hit, while in my report I didnt see him hit the guy (which I didnt). So what can I do? whats going to happen?

they are going to use a facebook post as their evidence??

Dude facebook gets hacked all the time...tell them it asnt you who made the post on facebook...problem solved
