Seriously, I could not agree more, so many gorgeous hindu women on campus... even got a few in my grad program, of all the things I'm attracted too, ugly is not one of them.

i just want to know if they are approachable and can be dated in general. like most have said here most get into arranged marriages. i also wanted to know how they acted. were they more uptight than other girls you've dated? how would you compare them to other american girls

Well my ex was VERY Indian, she had just come into the states about 4 years ago. They do follow arranged marriages traditionally but the majority of the younger generation don't particularly believe in it. She was much more soft spoken and the culturally preferred male dominance did stand out a bit in subtle ways when we were together..ie. I could tell her what we were going to do and not get any kind of shit for not consulting her first etc..

They are also very quick to please you. She did not "stink" in the least as someone earlier so elegantly remarked. They are the hairiest of the worlds population so you might have to keep that in mind. My ex was luckily not too bad though.

Their family life is VERY stringent, it's tradition for the daughter to live at home until the day she marries. My ex's father actually passed away when she was young and so her mother lived with her even though she was completely capable to take care of herself, that's just how their families are.

You just have to feel her out bro, see if she's into the US culture in any ways. If she is it's most likely that she won't have a problem straying from the traditions.

80% of the people I work with are Indian or Pakistani and I can tell you that you are just plain wrong. As far as wiping with their hands, that would be the arab world you are talking about. Shower correctly? Where does that come from? Go to their homes and you see it is all about cleanliness both personally and around the house.

BTW if you when to China you would find that they think white people smell really bad......like milk.

Uh no I spitting facts.. a small percentage do not stink I even have a couple indian friends but majority stink and they wipe there asses with there hands and dont shower correctly and shit.

I have alot of indian friends, some indian professors, and my favorite ex is indian, just like any race some kewl, some not so kewl.
It would only benefit u to learn more about yourself and expand as an individual in atleast trying to get to know these chics. More than likely they are extremely intelligent, capable, and affable women, and if not, don't blame their culture or ethnicity... thats just how some peeps roll.
