a school marm who owned a glock a sig and a bushmaster for her OWN PERSONAL amusement??? surely you don't believe that to be the most likely case scenario, yes??? i may be completely wrong and if so, i'll be the first to admit it but i think...
she spent her mental midget son's therapy money on really expensive, high tech firearms to stroke his fascination with guns, which she (i can only imagine why) saw as a healthy outlet for his otherwise negative energy.
i've seen this type of scenario play out way too many times, although usually with much less horrific results...denial is not just a river in egypt. she knew he had issues...i'll bet the father did too...wouldn't surprise me if the kid had a history of therapy, acting out, medication, etc...and they did nothing about it...he likes guns...lets buy him guns, so he has something to pour his energy into, so we don't have to sit around watching him 24/7 and so we don't have to keep getting phone calls from the police (or who have you) about another incident that he was involved in because he was bored and not channeling his energy into something constructive...like guns...jeezuz...what a fucking mess.

my buddy greg has a fair number of guns...a year and a half ago his son started showing some signs of mental issues...all of greg's guns are now locked in my gun safe...he also got all the booze out of his house and he threw away all the bang-bang-shoot'em-up video games that his son had...and his son's ass is in (pretty damned expensive) therapy two days a week...does this mean nothing bad will happen? no, but his kid is gonna have to work lot harder and probably have some accomplices if he wants to harm anyone but himself.
