Another case in why steroids is a no no...

They get a bad rap probably because:

1) They are addictive. No question about that.

2) They do tend to bring-out the stereotypical aspects of men that the feminist movement has been telling the world is so terrible for the last 40 years (i.e. aggressiveness, sexual preoccupation, etc. etc.)

An addiction is a physical dependancy to a substance. Steroids are not physically addictive. Your body does not become dependant on them like you do with other drugs like cocaine, tobacco or alcohol to feel like it has to function properly.

Sure, some people love taking steroids and do it become it makes them feel good, but they do not institute a physical dependancy on exogeneous hormones.

didnt really want to argue about it ,obviously have different views but no reason to bicker back and forth :)

exchange of ideas is all i'm looking to do...i'm going run a cycle

please show me proof that this guy is fucked up because of steroids? I read the article but i didnt see where it says this? it says some guy came into a office with sores and acne and he told doctors he abused steroids...

this very informative article showed the cause and reason why this had happened...it has to be pretty common considering how many hundreds of thousands use steroids...were all walking around with holes in our skin leakin puss....

this article is no different then any other useless news story...there is no proof it was directly caused, did this guy have skin issues before? we dont know...nobody knows since they put a whole 5 minutes into typing the article for the scare factor

ever notice how that any negative shit posted about roids always gets denial?
the doctors suck, the media suck, everything sucks and is wrong...smells like denial? what do you think?

bino, there are legitimate concerns to AAS use......but did you look at those photo's bro? Do you think that if your typical roid user was getting "just a fraction" of that condition that roid use would be prevelant? The dude's physique didn't even remotely look like a roid users.....even the first photo's phsyique didn't look roid gained. That dude obviously had some prior genetic disposition or something.....that shit almost looks like psoriasis.....whatever.

it got posted here as a news story for discussion.

Not that I am defending anyone's use of illegal agents, however, the article clearly stated something about "doping". Can someone please enlighten me as to whether or not this is some new jargon that is synonymous with the use of steriods? Not to mention the FACT that if this was something that was a common occurance with MOST users of performance enhancing agents such as anabolic agents then doesn't someone think that it would have been revealed sooner by those who have been using such agenst for quite some time?

The article is weak and laughable.
