I have been around this stuff for 20 years plus and I have never ever seen nor heard of this. And why only on his chest and back? I mean, when I see someone who gets acne from roids, it is on their face, back, shoulders, etc. I have never known anyone to get zits on their chest even from puberty. Maybe he get all infected from shaving or something, but damn, that would be the rarest case of zits from steroids I have ever seen. I am not saying it couldn't happen, just never heard of it in all the years I have known about this stuff.

Maybe George and Company could do some research and shed some light on this.

It still amazes me how steroids can be consumed in such massive quantities (10x ... 20x the clinical dose) and people do just fine. You can't even do that with alcohol, Tylenol or aspirin.

my guess is that roids are synthetics of a substance already occuring in the body whereas alcohol, tylenol, etc are not.

I don't know what the whole anti-steroid stance is based on. Can someone help me out? If we allow smoking, red meat, and guns; then what's wrong with the roids? If you die from them, GREAT! One more out of the gene pool. If you get bigger from them, GREAT! It worked out for you.

They get a bad rap probably because:

1) They are addictive. No question about that.

2) They do tend to bring-out the stereotypical aspects of men that the feminist movement has been telling the world is so terrible for the last 40 years (i.e. aggressiveness, sexual preoccupation, etc. etc.)
