Anavar Question....

Hi everyone, I am new to these boards and have a question about Anavar, besides my question any input, suggestions or comments are very welcome!

I have hypothyroidism and want to start taking Anavar. What I want to know is if this is a good idea. I am taking Levoxl on a daily basis and don't want the Anavar to interfere with my Thyroid medication in any negative way. Anybody know anything about this??

Yikes. I don't know the answer, but I do know that any changes in the thyroid can cause hormonal changes. If the thyroid medication is going to regulate your thyroid, the Var may work against it, or vice versa. It may not be worth doing the Var. I know that you might be hesitant, but if I were considering it with any other meds like the one you are using, I would definitely ask my doctor first.

In all honesty, I don't know. I would venture a no, but am not an MD. You could post this on the Anabolic Board (title it Anavar and Hypo-Thyroid or something like that) and the Medical Issues Board....might get better info there. Macro and W6 are two members in particular I hope can answer this.

I did a quick search on "anavar" & "hypothyroid" and found the following posts:

This first one has a lot of stuff about AAS & a hyperthyroid effect from it, but I think it is primarily telling me that Wilson6 (W6) is a good source for some info.

This one I included only because one guy mentioned his g/f is possibly hypothyroid & wanted to cycle, but otherwise, no don't do crank to lose weight.
