had a meeting today about our corporate website redesign. A few people in the conference room, all younger than me except for my boss, who is late 50s.

I was showing them an example of a site I liked and it was something like "pearl designs". I had closed the browser, and then wanted to go back to it. I couldn't remember the exact name, so in google I typed "pearl design agency" and up comes a list of websites.

My boss sees this and says, "Gabrielle, do you want a pearl necklace?"


(silence).

I look around the room, and the rest of the staff is DYING, but quiet.

I just said, "no, i'm good."

We continue our discussion of a new website design and my boss is TRYING to ask me if there is a limit to how long a particular page can be that will have a lot of text, but he says,

"Can I go deep?"
