Alcohol and a "fat feeling" around abs/stomach

So what do you recommend to drink (in moderation) if/when going out?

Don't get me wrong, have a few drinks here and there, it's not going to kill you ya know. My guess, red wine. Coming from grapes which would have less of an effect that potatoes.
 
I was told that alcohol stores water around your stomach that could just be the issue? When I drink I stick to red wine or vodka,lime and soda water. Drink tons of water and drink a whey protein shake before i go out
 
Alcohol does not get stored. The sugar does.
 
What are the thoughts about downing 3 Need2slins before drinking. If it truely shuttles carbs into muscle wouldn t it make sense that this may reduce the negative impact. If alcohol totally bypasses the glycogen pathway mechanism then this won 't work and that is the mechanics I am unsure of.

I am curious about the thoughts on this. In the past before I found need2slin, I used to take Cheater Relief before heading out drinking. I can t say I noticed any real difference but I felt less guilt thats for sure.
