Because she has agreed to this arrangement and is all happy now...but eventually she will start to get sick of him staying home or her friends will make one too many comments and she will more than likely pack up her shit and take off...there by effectively fucking him over because now he has no job.

He is an able bodied male with no other obligations so how hard would it be for him to find another job? It would be a bit tougher for her to find a place to live for her and her daughter (I think I read that she has a daughter, she may be living on her own though so I am not sure) then it would be for Biteme to find some bullshit job to pay his bills until he can find something better. I mean, he doesn't even have to pay childsupport and he can work as many hours as he needs, so what is the issue? How hard could it be?
It seems that their relationship is set up in such a way that they are fairly dependent on one another. So whoever backs out will effectively fuck them BOTH... no?
Or how bout this.... they actually communicate and compromise and MAYBE they do things so that it will either work for them BOTH or they decide to call it a day and separate so that it will be equally easy on them BOTH.

Your initial comment made it sound like women have been getting over by staying home and taking care of the family while men were out somewhere busting their asses. Last I heard (and LIVED) taking care of a household was 24/7 job with no sick days, vacation days, no raises just constant work that was never done fast or good enough.
Truth is that very few people in American society value their families - ie children and old people and taking care of those relationships along with the household. They have put a paramount on money and youth... everything else is just an after thought.
