Why does it hurt so bad and sting for days when I jab right above knee cap?? Would it help to jab behind the knee on the opposite side of the cap? using a 1.5-in 22g....

why would you pin right by your kneecap? of course that hurts man!!! get into some deep muscle and you wont even feel it, literally! Hit the outside top of your quad, about a third of the way up your thigh, 6-8" above your knee. And I dont know what/how much oil your puttin in that muscle, but why are you using a 1.5" needle, and what gauge? Unless youve got a lot of fat to get through just use a 1" needle, theres no need to bury anything that deep unless you prefer it. And seriously... behind the knee? Hahaha fuck dude I cant imagine a more sensitive sounding area... that said, Ive never tried it...

My bad, I just saw that your using a 22 gauge. I typically pin with a 25 ga. or 23, the 25 takes a little longer but thats my favorite.

I went 18g 1.5in behind/underneath the knee for a long while on opposite side of the cap. Straight-in, generally until I could sense the cartillage and then I would unleash. Developed a good amount of scar tissue doing that so need to stop. Used up both caps.
