AAS and minor rotator cuff strain

I strained my rotator cuff (mild) and every lift is fine except shoulder press hurts but I can still do it. Since the rotator cuff is a muscle, would AAS help it recover since they help muscles recover? Im wondering because I have strained it several times. When I am on a cycle, its heals much faster, sometimes in just a couple days it is 100%. When not on a cycle, it takes longer. Is this just coincidence or is the AAS helping? Note: This is a minor strain, no tear or severe pain.

Agreed.like glennds said, avoid training that bodypart, and care must be taken on the bench press and anything else that brings that bodypart into play,do so while using AAS will result into a more serious injury.

Radar, why is it that AAS will not help a rotator cuff? Since it is a muscle, why dont AAS increase recovery? Am I missing an important detail?

look into sarms s-4, it can and will help.

Its not about recovery its about injury,Steroids any for that fact will increase strength, thats where the problem lies.
don't be fooled with thinking you can do this or that because any injury should be taken seriously on AAS.

thanks Radar. Ozzie: yea i usually take 2 weeks off of shoulder press and incline press when I get a strain like this. Im just pissed cause Ive already had to delay starting my cycle over a month because of a wrist sprain and now I have to wait a few more weeks.:( Buts whats a few weeks in the grand scheme of things? Thanks man

How about dont train upper body until its 100% if they are always getting injured that should tell you sumthing. Your not letting them recover enough. Im the same and my right rotator cuff is completely fucked at present. I gave it not enough time and paid the price.
I suggest you just dont train upper body for a few weeks and use anti inflammatories and do some light rotator cuff exercises when it loosens up a bit to build it up. A little time off wont kill you...

Sorry to hear about the delay bro that's just depressing. I've had a lot of rotator issues, I believe caused at first by Ruby. Give it time and get 100%, it does suck but like ya said nothin in the grand plan. I also believe one of the reasons for injury is steroids cause rapid muscle growth but tendons and ligaments can't keep up.

thats exactly why rotator cuffs get hurt. I started doing special exercises for it and those help, but when I sprained my wrist, I couldnt do the rotator cuff exercises so it got weak. Thats why I just sprained it.

Believe me i have had my share of injuries in the gym,but i always found away to work around them, except the time i tore my bicep off and ripped part of my delt also ,my arm dangled by my side, shock treat showed that there we still some nerves there, but i could wriggle my fingers just couldn't lift my are, it was like cutting a rope, there was nothing to pull on,I did physical thearpy on myself for 2 yrs and one day it moved 2 inches,i told myself if i can do it once i can do it again, today i have regained 95% of the strength back in that area.
