I don't want to get into any arguments here. I'm just want to give a quick heads up. Real simple.
Clomid and Nolvadex are ESTROGENS. They occupy the receptor sites in order to prevent other estrogens to form, thus preventing gyno. (Maybe). The problem is, they have all the effects of extra estrogen -- weakness, mood swings and loss of libido.
Now some people do fine with them. That's great. But many don't and NOBODY really needs to use them with what is now available.
I've been speaking out against these drugs for over 15 years. People thought I was crazy. Now they know better. (I always preferred anti aromatases to anti estrogens. They simply work better. And even then, you need very little).
Still, there are a lot of people who follow the outdating "internet guru" thinking that was just erroneous information from the pioneers of personal pharmacology.
SO...bottom line. If you love clomid or nolva, knock yourself out. But if you're wondering what to use for PCT, I recommend avoiding them. And remember, contrary to internet rumor, they DO NOT restore the HPTA. (Please, don't post any any studies -- they're all flawed and most people don't understand them so don't bother -- I don't feel like arguing or explaining).
If you've used Clomid or Nolva and had a bad time with them, let 'em go! And go with preventing estrogen naturally and get the HTA up and running without depending on more drugs that just leave you more suppressed once you go off of them.
It's 2012 folks. Stop using 1989's PCT.
