I don't know about eating raw fish....but then every marine animal I've worked on had worms....from eating fish.


Find a damn good sushi chef to pick out your fish and tip...lol

I've never even been to a sushi bar. Could be really good...Just dont skimp on the guy serving you raw fish.

what do japanese eat for breakfast?

They thought it meant "Here's extra money, so you'll work harder next time". Strange mentality to have, I think.

They usually ate rice with some hard boiled eggs and a little sushi (or something) with it in the morning. And the ones who had base privledges would go to any of the fast food restaurants on base. I worked with a few civilians for about a month and they would take us the local places and recommend what they thought we'd like. They also insisted on buying a lot, and wouldn't let us buy them lunch to return the favor.

I only eat sushi at chinese buffet...all you can eat.

you ALWAYS tip the sushi chef when you sit at the bar... that is in addition to what you tip your server... ALWAYS tip the chef... its part of the premium you pay for sitting at the actual sushi bar and getting the personal attention.

Exactly what Lestat said. A sushi chef is much different than a chef at a steak house. Especially if you are at the bar and he is making it right in front of you.

i'm a sushi addict, love the stuff!!! find a small place w/ a real japenese chef! and tip well, they'll remember you when you come back. the place i'm a regular at, takes care of me big time!! dany, the sushi chef, hooks me up as soon as i sit down, always giving me extra stuff to try! the last time there he had me try sea urchin, though i heard it's really bad, i didn't think it was unpallatable! kinda like custard.....but everyone makes sushi different so find a chef you like and stick w/ him, their like good bar tenders hard to find a good one!
