yea the sushi I had was from a take out japanese restaraunt. someone I was with ordered sushi and made me try it. I guess if I went to an actual sushi bar it might change my mind.

When I was in Japan the locals were insulted if you tipped them. They took it to mean that you paid them to tip so they'll work harder, not as a sign of appreciation for the job done.
