A questio nfor people who know computer networks

if you have your file sharing set to do not chare for the c and d drives, and anyone look over the network and see the files on your computer. would they have to come log in on your comp. to see what on it.

thanks

Anyone with Admin status can browse files on remote desktops but not people with user status.

There is, but if you're running Windows NT or 2000, you have to have admin rights, and then you can disable the administrative share of the C drive.

If you're running 95 or 98, anyone can change the sharing rights on your PC. Just expect the admins to get pissed if they try to get to your PC and find out they can't.
