Okay, so laugh if you want to, but I lived in a house when I was about in first grade that was "haunted."
Some of the things that we experienced was whispering, footsteps, doors slamming, hooded dark figure that would appear and disappear. (Other family members saw more than me. I never saw the dark figure or heard the whispering). Also, I had an obviously murdered bunny rabbit and some other stuff. However, the worst even for me and most dramatic event involved a doll that levitated and did some pretty wicked looking stuff.
My brother freaked out about the doll, too. Some other stuff happened with the doll but I don't want to make this post too long by explaining all the stuff that happened in this house. Suffice it to say that the crazy shit that went down was almost as dramatic as say the Amityville horror movie...lol.
As adults, Chuck and I discussed the doll. We had never talked to each other about it before. He described seeing it levitate too (at a different time and when he was alone with it) What he described was very similar to what I saw, and I had not told him any details about what I saw the doll do.
Well, anyway, I was back in my home town yesterday and I drove by that house and took some pictures of it and tried to work up the nerve to ask the current occupants if they had ever experienced anything, but I couldn't work up the nerve to knock on their door.
Anyway, I went up the road that lies behind the house. It goes pretty much straight up a HUGE hill and we were never allowed to go up there as kids. Well, it turns out that the top of the hill is where all the towers are (I think just electrical towers is what I was seeing). The road was so hard to get up to the top that I got scared I was going to get stuck. I really needed a jeep to be doing this. It had deep ruts in the road and holes and was so steep.
So, I was thinking, do you think electrical lines over head like that could cause the brain to malfunction and hallucinate. If so, how do we explain that we had the same hallucination? I never saw anything odd the rest of my life after we left that house except that the doll showed up at a new house after I threw it out in the trash at the old house. My brother experienced some other things other places, but I never did. As far as I know, my mother didn't either.
As background, people who came to visit us at that house often left and wouldn't stay after seeing things or hearing things.
So, do you think this could be a phenomenon caused by a static field or something?
