I use real people from work or the gym like u said. Somebody trustworthy or a guy that has stuff in hand. If all else fails learn some spanish and go to mexico. I would recommend driving so u can stash it in the car somewhere. The customs at the border usually just wave military through, trust me I used to do it all the time. Just have to look the part or wave the ID.

Your right, probably a bit risky unless the dude has been your bud through good and bad.
