a lesson on insults

1. it's generally not an insult to call someone old. whoever you are saying it to, generally knows what age they are and knows they are older than you. when you try to insult someone by calling them old, you look immature. Think about whether you'd feel insulted if you got into an arguement with a 15 year old and they called you old.
you'd laugh and think they were an idiot for thinking that was an insult.

2. on the same hand, its not really an insult to tell someone they are young and have growing up to do. they will just think you sound old, and not really consider it an insult. nobody EVER thinks they have a lot of growing up and learning to do... they think that whatever their age is- that they already know about life.

3. insulting someone by calling them some arbitrary name does nothing. if i tell AAP he's fat and ugly, do you think that will bother him? he's NOT fat and ugly. telling someone that owns a house or has a good job that they need to go back to their trailer park or factory makes you look stupid and naive, and not very original.

4. Leave people's kids/parents/spouse out of any insult. it makes you look lower than low.

5. the "BRILLIANT!" thing is overplayed, but it is a good way just to end it and get in the last word.

6. the best insults are anything to do with calling someone canadian.

ok now that was actually not bad. at least it was specific and designed to hit a sore spot.

it didn't work, but it was a good try. :)

It was not. I thought your thread was funny.

You look fat in all of your pants.

Funny you mention this. I was doing some closet cleaning while on my vacation and came across a like new pair of CK pants. I usually don't wear CK pants, don't even recall buying them actually. Anyway, I usually wear a 34 or 36 waist depending on my diet/training, I'm currently feeling pretty thin with all the running I've been doing lately, most of my 34's fit perfect. So these CK pants are a size 38, I try them on and I'm blown away I can't even get them buttoned! I'm thinking about suing for mental anguish, what do you think?

i think you may need to run more.

The ultimate insult is to ignore the existence of someone that knows you know they're a bumbling idiot.

They'll be so busy waiting for you to go off on them in public that they avoid you and that's really the best result possible and they get out of your way all on their own.

I think that your woman had another man over and he was more lean than you. He left his pants.

Translation: She's cheating on you.

Go back to your trailer, you fat ugly old woman. Your husband is stupid, your parents smell like old people, and your kids are the dumbest of all.

Your 'Post' about INSULTS is nothing short of BRILLIANT!

i want a gym at my work!

its great for the convenience factor, but not so great that my coworkers see me sweating and lifting. more than once someone has made a comment about my strength and I'd rather be thought of more professionaly.

I also continue to sweat after I shower and get to my desk, so that's not so great either.

no, see, it doesn't.
those kind of insults are retarded because my mother drives a lexus and wears cute shoes.

Redguru's I.q. is in the moronic range.

I can't call you fat anymore because you claim to have lost your fat, dimply ass. So, I'll just go with ugly

Shut up you old, ugly bitch.. your husband is just like and you two need to go back to the trailer park.. BRILLIANT!

Why insult someone in the first place. It makes you look worse then who ever you are describing!

you've obviously learned NOTHING by this lesson.

redguru is neither fat, ugly, or stupid, so your insult backfired.
