505 deadlift for 2!!!!

Yeah I know some of you can do alot more but I just started deadlifting again a few weeks ago. 2 years ago I was doing 545 but stopped doing it for a long time. Now im back and loving the raw feeling of pure power!! Did use wrist straps though on my final sets but no belt or knee wraps. Dropped the weight to 405 after the 505 and did it for 6 easy reps without touching the ground after each rep. :garza:

that's great bro, good job. You started from the floor right? That's alot of weight, I can only do about 6 with 315 starting from the floor and going to the floor on each rep. I see alot of people doing heavy weight but that start from the rack - IMO it defeats the purpose. Kinda like this skinny kid last night doing squats with 4 pl8ts and a quater on each side. He got it off the rach went down an inch for 2 reps and racked it. He did this for 4 sets and each time I shook my head in disgust. I made sure he saw me.

Great job bro, you'll be joining me in the 600 club soon

Hehehe..... On the negative side though I have 3 amps of sus left along with my almost finished bottle of fina. My 250mg sus every 5 days along with 150mg fina eod of fina is almost done!!!! :bawling: :bawling: :bawling: Not going back on til next March-April either. Gonna be a loooong winter... Oh well did it last year so I know what I have to do. ;)

SOLID - Yes I started from the floor wouldn't do it any other way. No partials for me!! :D

Needsize - You're the reason I started doing them again in the first place. Now I am really consistent with them. 600...... I can't wait.. Most likely next year still though but we'll see.

that's fucking awesome bro, your a strong mofo. I love doing deads, but I don't see myself being able to ever 500lbs I think my head would explode from the pressure. Good job..keep it up- I'll try to get to 405 meanwhile you try to get to 600.

Thx for the encouragement bro!!

BTW - don't ever limit yourself by saying you can never do it. Just keep at it and you may just get there. 315 for 6 at 5'11 190 pounds lean is pretty good bro. Don't forget the taller the harder it is unless you have extremely long arms. Good luck bro.

Good job bro. I pulled 550 when I was 20 and on the juice. Now I'm 37 and before I started the juice again recently, I could still pull at least that much clean. Have gotten a little stronger from the juice.

Cool, never been a inspiration before... The sad thing is that it's never enough, seconds after I pulled 600 it wasnt enough, go figure.

I did 585 for 3 reps about 3 weeks ago but today I didn't go above 405 because of my lower back. My lower back always bothers me when I am on a cycle. - cbeaks

Big fucking deal. I can pick my teeth with 505.

Just kidding bro - LOL. Good work. You do them conventional or sumo style? I just started, well the past year - Sumo style. Which I find a much more natural movement, easier on the back. I can't do as much as I was doing conventional, but I'll never go back. Give them a try if you haven't already. I also do them on leg day after squats, since there's so much leg involvement with the Sumo's.

BTW - Loose those wrist wraps ya sissy.

I love deads. Mostly because i have disdain for the candy-assed machine, dumbell, cable fags that hang out at my gym.

I have been sorely dissappointed in my deads since i've been at em for four years. I can get a few reps with 405, all natural, 5'11" 193Ibs. While on gear, add about 50 Ibs to that lift. One bright point: Still a hell of a lot more than my tall lanky, late 30 something peers.

I want to do at least a rep with 500 by age 40.

excellent bro!

I haven't done them in a long time because of my bad back but I need to start back at a low weight and see if I can do them now.
